Connect Gaggle to your AI assistant
Let an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT read your flights and stats, choose what it sees, and disconnect it at any time.
Connect Gaggle to your AI assistant
Profile > Settings > Integrations > Connected apps
You can connect Gaggle to your own AI assistant so you can ask about your flying in plain language. The assistant can only read what you allow, and you can disconnect it at any time.
What it lets you do
Once connected, ask your assistant things like:
- “How many hours did I fly this year?”
- “Summarise my last flight.”
- “Which sites do I fly most?”
- “Show my longest flight from Bell Hill.”
- “How did my flying this month compare with last month?”
The assistant can look at your profile, stats, flight log and flight tracks. It can only read: it cannot change, add or delete anything in Gaggle.
What it can see
It uses the same switches and sharing levels as connected apps. When you connect, you choose:
- whether it can see your stats, your flight log and your flight tracks (your profile name is always shared);
- which of your flights it sees by sharing level: Everyone, My Groups, Friends and Private.
Your plan’s detail applies as well. For example, on Free the assistant sees flights from the moment you connect, on Frequent Flyer the last 30 days, and on Adventurer your whole logbook. See Connected apps for the full list.
Connect your assistant
The steps differ a little for each assistant. Claude and ChatGPT are examples of assistants that support connecting like this; other assistants that support MCP servers work too.
- In your assistant’s settings, add a custom connector (also called an MCP server).
- Enter this address:
https://connect.flygaggle.com/mcp - When asked, sign in to your Gaggle account.
- Gaggle shows what the assistant asks for. Review it, switch off anything you do not want to share, and allow.
- Ask your assistant a question about your flights.
You need a full Gaggle account, not a guest one.
Disconnect
- Open Profile > Settings > Integrations > Connected apps.
- Tap the assistant, labelled AI assistant.
- Change what it sees, or tap Disconnect and confirm.
You can also remove the connector in your assistant’s own settings.
Privacy
- Gaggle has not reviewed third-party assistants. The company behind your assistant decides how it handles what it reads, and its terms and privacy policy apply to that data. Gaggle is not responsible for how it uses your data.
- Only connect assistants you trust, and only share what you are happy for it to read.
- Gaggle emails you whenever an app or assistant is connected to your account.
- Read more in the Privacy Policy.
Troubleshooting
The assistant says it cannot find any flights or data. Open Connected apps and check that Stats, Flight log and Tracks are switched on, and that the sharing levels include the flights you are asking about (imported flights are Private by default). Then check your plan’s history: Free shows flights from the moment you connected, and Frequent Flyer the last 30 days.
You cannot connect another assistant. You can connect up to 10 AI assistants. Disconnect one you no longer use in Connected apps, then try again.
The connection stopped working. You may have disconnected it, or removed it in the assistant. Add the connector again with the same address.
